The Ab Roller is an accessory for working out your abdominal muscles. It helps to sculpt the abdominal muscles and strengthen your core. It also strengthens your arms and shoulders. Your body burns calories as you work out.

We all want the six-pack muscles to show when we take off our shirts. We all want to show that we are shaving off the belly fat and the abdominal muscles are showing.
Combine the Ab roller workout with strength training or cardio training. Some Ab rollers work with resistance bands to increase the level of difficulty of the exercise.
2. Grip Strength Trainer
Grip strength is how well you can firmly and securely hold onto heavy weights when training. Good grip strength is important to all trainers who are working on building strength. You also need good grip strength for any other daily chores.

In strength training exercises you work with weights and you need an above average grip strength to be able to grip the weights firmly and securely. This helps to reduce the risk of falling weights, damaging the floors and injury
The grip strength trainer is excellent for developing the small muscles in your hands, fingers, wrists and forearms. It is also used to help treat arthritis, tendonitis and other ailments affecting the hands.
Some grip trainers come with adjustable resistance. You can increase the level of resistance as your muscles get stronger. Some trainers come with a display to show the measure of your grip strength.
3. Resistance Bands
Resistance bands are elastic materials used for strength training. You work your muscles by pulling the bands where one end is fixed or hooked around something stationery that will not move.

Your muscles will work by experiencing the tension of the elastic bands. You have to apply a force to pull the bands and this forces your muscles to contract under the tension. The end result is muscular growth and strength.
The resistance bands are color coded to indicate the different levels of resistance. Get yourself a set with several colors for the different resistances. Start with the least resistance and progress to higher resistances as your get stronger.
You can do several types of exercises with the bands to work your arms, shoulders, chest, glutes, legs and Abs. Some bands come with connectors and handles for easy grip and safe use.
4. Skipping Rope
Skipping is a full body workout. You use your legs for jumping the rope, your core and Abs for stabilization and your shoulders and arms for turning the rope. It’s a good aerobic exercise that burns a lot of calories, as much as 10 calories per minute.

If you jump rope for 20 minutes you can burn 200 calories. That is a calory burn as good as running. It reduces body fat and you get all the benefits of a cardio workout. Skipping also improves your stamina, speed and endurance.
Get yourself a skipping rope with adjustable length to suit your height. Some ropes are weighted which gives you a good arm and shoulder workout as you skip.
Some ropes comes with a small display screen to show time, calories burnt and rotations. You can input your body weight for correct measurements.
5. Push-Up Stands
Push-up stands intensify the exercise for better results from doing push-ups. They place your wrists in line with your forearms to reduce the impact on your wrist joints. You engage more muscles as you do your push-ups.

Push up stands allow you to lower your body much further than you would with your hands on the ground. They give you a better floor grip as the stands are padded and rubberized. You will perform better push-ups on a slippery floor.
Some push-up stands can rotate which means you have to engage stabilizer muscles as you do your push-ups. That is more muscles worked in the body. You increase upper body strength and get well defined arms, shoulders, chest and abs.
6. Doorway Pull-Up Bar
Pull-Ups are great at building upper body strength in the shoulders, back, core, chest and arms. The doorway pull-up bar is a portable bar that you fit in the upper doorway at the time of your workout.

It hangs on the door frame to support your body weight. You do not have to drill holes to fit it. You take it off after your workout and store it in the cupboard.
Pull-Ups force you to lift your entire body weight. If you weigh 60Kgs then you will be lifting the entire 60Kgs. They are quite challenging at first but with practice you can get the hang of it.
The doorway pull-up bar is multi functional. When placed on the floor it can also work as a push up stand, for triceps dips and you can use it as an anchor for sit-ups.
7. Gym Timer
A timer is essential for your workouts. All your exercises need to be timed and it will be good to workout following a written down plan. That way you will achieve better results

You need a timer for interval circuit workouts. You need a stopwatch to tell you when your preset time is up and you stop working out. The timer can have straps to fit on your arm or have belt clips to put onto your belt.
The timer will chime and vibrate to signal your preset time. The timer can be in the form of a watch that you wear on your arm. It can be linked to GPS and Maps to record your routes when out running.
It might also be able to record calories burnt and the pace of exercise. You will be able to preset your exercise goals and see if you are reaching the goals. It will also work as a recorder for keeping all your exercise history in one place.
